• By Decree of the Office of the President of Afghanistan on National Strategy and Policy of 1383, the Ministry of Energy and Water (MEW) was created from two existing ministries: the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Environment.

  The Government of Afghanistan has identified the restoration and expansion of the country’s physical infrastructure as one of its key priorities for the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan. As part of the basic economic infrastructure of the country, the energy and water sectors occupy a special place in government development plans.

• Eligibility Criteria:

  Applicants must have the following:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering from domestic and international educational institutions at home and abroad.
  • Having at least 7 years of corresponding professional experience for bachelor’s level, 5 years of professional experience for master’s level and 3 years of professional experience for domestic or foreign doctoral level.
  • Fluency in the country’s official languages ​​(Pashto, Dari) and English.
