ages, strengthen gender equality and women empowerment, enhance inclusive

improvement as well as it has implemented several projects in different area of
social integration for women, girls, youths and individuals who are addicted in

funded CLO are such as; Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), United State Institute of
Peace (USIP), Colombo Plan (CP) and Oxfam.
Currently CLO is partner with UNDP, UN-Women and Uplift-Afghanistan in
the areas of health and women protection
Job Description:
Aims:
The psychosocial
counsellor will conduct open awareness-raising session to the clients. Conduct
regular follow up of cases registered. Provide individual and/or group
counselling session to the clients. Organize awareness session on stress
management and other related issues for the clients. The counsellors work under
the supervision of project manager and will directly report to the project
manager as well.
Duties &
Responsibilities
The psychosocial
counsellor with close coordination is responsible for the overall planning and
providing of psychosocial support to the survivors of SGBVs on the determined
health centre.
Actively participate in
ToT training as needed by CLO or donor agency.
Provide in-person
psychosocial counselling sessions to individuals and groups
Conduct initial
assessments of clients’ situations to determine the beneficiary’s situation
Develop service plans and
conduct reviews as needed throughout treatment
Coordinate treatment
plans and maintain ongoing contact with other related organizations to ensure
the continual care for the beneficiaries
Providing psychosocial
counselling at home for women and girls who cannot come to the health centres
due to the sensitivity of their cases.
Produce and maintain
accurate clinical records of the beneficiaries.
Ensure that all case
files and other records strictly comply with policies, regulations, and procedures
Coordinate feedback
meetings with the team and department.
Develop weekly report on
specific cases identified during the individual psychological support sessions.
Job Requirements:
Masters / Bachelor’s
degree in Psychosocial Counselling and or Counselling and Guidance.
Demonstrated strong
experience working with vulnerable clients, including survivors of SGBV and
victims of child abuse.
Experience and
understanding of case management and analysis.
Experience&
Skills:
At least two-year
experience working mention position/relevant field. preferably with women and
girls.
Psychology -- Knowledge
of human behaviour and performance;
Strong interpersonal
skills and ability to establish working relations with target communities and
project team
Fluent in speaking and
writing Pashto and Dari languages
Computer literate
Ability to work
independently and under pressure
