About MMRCA:
The Medical Management and Research Courses For Afghanistan (MMRCA) is a national, not-for-profit, non-political, humanitarian organization established in March 2008 by Afghan Health Professionals and is registered as an NGO with the Ministry of the Economy (MoE) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
MMRCA is currently implementing BPHS/EPHS in Badghis and BPHS in Samangan and Sar-e-Pul provinces, HIV projects in Balkh and Kunduz, TB projects in Nangarhar, Laghman, Nooristan, Kunar, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika and Khost provinces, TSFP, Trauma, MHT and Malaria projects in Badghis, Samangan and Saripol Provinces. MMRCA invites and encourages eligible candidates to apply for the position of Medical Doctor in Afghan Japan Hospital Kabul.
Job Description:
- Tray to make early Diagnoses and treat infectious and Covid -19 patients
- Order laboratory tests X-rays and other diagnostic procedures
- Prescribe medication and treatment and refer patients for Intensive care
- Carefully examine the COVID-19 patient's order scientifically the patients according to Covid management guidelines.
- Follow the patients of COVID-19 carefully.
- May conduct medical research.
- Monitors and evaluates the provision of patient services within the practice including the appointment system and physician protocols; interacts with and guides clinic managers in the enhancement of operating efficiency and improvement of responsiveness to patients.
- Answering calls as well as welcoming and assisting patients and visitors.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments tests treatments and other procedures.
- Obtaining and updating patients' personal and health information.
- Preparing patient files for consultation and evaluation.
- Conduct active surveillance at the hospital for suspect Covid cases
- Participate in outbreak investigations and special epidemiological projects as needed
- Attend meetings for the Incident Command System as well as other meetings inside and outside.
- Organize and attend daily weekly and monthly staff meetings.
- Report immediately all suspected cases
- Contact tracing of identified cases according to MoPH guidelines
- Deliver essential health services at the hospital level to infected people of COVID-19 according to WHO guidelines.
- To consider the infection prevention and control measures at the hospital
- Provision of triage by applying standard precautions for all patients
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line supervisor
Job Requirements:
